▶️ To obtain soft water, we install a SaoCal softener in the installation. The softener should be mounted on the supply as close as possible to the water meter, immediately after the mechanical filter of drinking water. We recommend using filters such as Drufi+, Drufi+ Max, 6380 flange.

▶️ The limitation of the use of the softener may be the high content of iron and manganese in the water. These substances cause rapid degradation of resins, thanks to which we can soften water. In this case, instead of a mechanical filter, we recommend installing a SaoCal Fe iron remover. In addition to the iron/manganese removal function, the iron remover will also act as a mechanical filter for drinking water.

⚙️ The softener consists of the following elements:

• modern controller with a touch screen, managing the operation of the entire device,
• valve
• cylinder with ion exchange resin,
• Salt and brine tank, with equipment for regeneration.

▶️ SaoCal 250 SMART-K - resin cylinder "hidden" inside a common housing (cabinet) with a salt tank; the device is equipped with a valve and controller dedicated to the SMART version.
