Reverse Osmosis System
RO6 is a modern six-stage reverse osmosis system. It is equipped with three pre-filters, an osmotic membrane and two linear end filters (RO6 Young has an "L-Young" cartridge mineralizing, alkalizing and ionizing water).
Reverse osmosis filters are the most frequently chosen and installed kitchen filters. They purify water by eliminating mechanical impurities, heavy metal compounds, bacteria and viruses. They provide the opportunity to drink crystal clear, healthy water with the characteristics of spring water. These systems are usually installed in a cabinet under the kitchen sink.

How does it work?
The first stage (PS20) removes mechanical impurities larger than 20 microns from the water. Sand, rust and other sediments are retained by micropores, the diameter of which decreases towards the interior. Large particles are captured at the surface, while small ones are captured in deeper layers.
The second stage (BL or GAC) removes chlorine and organic matter from the water, thus protecting the RO membrane and prolonging its life. Activated carbon, due to its porous structure, is an excellent filter material. Chemicals are adsorbed in the pores.
The third stage (PS5) removes mechanical impurities larger than 5 microns from the water. Sand, rust and other sediments are retained by micropores, the diameter of which decreases towards the interior. Large particles are captured at the surface, while small ones are captured in deeper layers. As a third stage, a different cartridge can be used, adapted to the customer's needs.
The fourth stage (RO membrane) consists of many layers of a semi-permeable, porous membrane. The pores of the membrane are large enough for water to penetrate, but small enough that it does not allow other substances to pass through. In this way, microbes and even ions are removed from the water.
Fifth stage (L-GAC) linear carbon cartridge improves the taste and smell of water.
(L-YOUNG) alkalizing-ionizing-mineralizing cartridge containing a mixture of high quality ceramic deposits of natural origin. Properly selected proportions of deposits perform three functions: they alkalize, mineralize and ionize water, which has a very
beneficial effect on our health and well-being. It lowers the ORP of water up to -400 mV, giving it strong antioxidant properties and delaying the aging process, protects against free radicals and deacidifies the body. Strengthens resistance to
diseases, mineralizes water and enriches it with, m.in. calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, selenium.
