DRUTER REGULUS

Electrically controlled combustion air regulator for solid fuel boilers. Controls the flow temperature of the working fluid from the heat source to the value set by the knob.

Installation of the regulator:

Screw the regulator with a 3/4" external thread to the connection on a boiler with a 3/4" internal thread. Seal the thread (e.g. Siseal sealing putty, Teflon tape...). Position the regulator so that the protrusion for the rod placement is facing downwards for horizontal installation (a), forward for vertical installation (b), and upward direction for lateral horizontal installation (c). Remove the plastic shipping tube and replace it with the hexagonal lever pointing forward on the side where there is no drilled hole. When tightening the screw, secure the rod in such a position that its free end is above the chain holder on the boiler door and the lever arm is as close to the horizontal position as possible (depending on the capabilities of the hexagonal element). Insert the chain into the hole of the regulator lever – with the larger hook permanently connected to the chain. Thread the other end of the chain through the handle on the boiler door, hook the free end with the free hook to the suspended chain. Check that the chain hangs freely and that the lever moves without resistance (when turning the knob). When installing the regulator in position (a), use a scale located closer to the boiler. When installing in positions (b) and (c), we use a scale that is farther away from the boiler.
