The water pressure reducer is designed to reduce the output pressure to a set value. Especially recommended in utility water systems to reduce high tap water pressure to a safe value - about 3 bar. It has a pressure gauge connection on both sides of the body, so it can be used in different positions in the installation.

1. Application

Water pressure reducers are designed to reduce the output pressure to a set value. Especially recommended in domestic water systems to reduce the high tap water pressure to a safe value - approx. 3 bar.

2. Description and operation

BPR pressure regulators have connections for the pressure gauge (3) on both sides of the body, so they can be used in different positions in the system. Using the setting screw (1), the output pressure is adjusted. Turning clockwise, we raise the pressure behind the reducer. Counterclockwise, we lower the pressure behind the reducer. At the factory, each of the reducers is set to an output pressure of 3 bar. With the help of a brass ring (2) limiting we lock the setting. On the body of the reducers there is an arrow indicating the direction of flow of the medium.

For the correct setting of the output pressure, it is recommended to install a pressure gauge to read the pressure value set at the valve outlet. 3. Technical specifications
