What is the radiator thermostat used for?

Each electronic radiator thermostat is a device that enables simple and effective temperature management in the building zone in which it is installed. Using radiator thermostats managed remotely, you can perfectly adjust the temperature in the rooms to your liking and at the same time reduce the costs incurred for heating. By installing electronic radiator heads in every room in the house, you can freely vary the temperature depending on the activity, the purpose of the zone or the time of day. 

How to install an electronic radiator thermostat?

Installation of the device is very simple and intuitive. The thermostatic head communicates with the master device wirelessly, so you can avoid forging walls and the associated costs and mess. It is enough to screw the electronic thermostat to the radiator head, and then, after removing the cover, attach the batteries.  

Electronic radiator thermostats – intelligent control

To manage thermostats mounted on radiators, special, modern devices are used. The electronic thermostat can be controlled from the wireless WiFi controllers 8S, ST-8S, ST-8S WiFi,  ST-16S  WiFi  or thermostatic actuator controller (L8). Communication between the electronic thermostat and the management device takes place wirelessly. The electronic radiator thermostat processes the commands received from the master controller and converts them into corresponding valve opening values. Installation of electronic radiator heads in each room allows full control over the temperature in the house at any time of the day or night.

An efficient system, which includes an electronic radiator thermostat and the device that manages it, allows for high thermal comfort, as well as large savings. Radiator system management devices can operate electronic thermostats mounted in up to 16 different heating zones (ST-16S WiFi). Thus , electronic radiator thermostats and a management device can maintain an optimal, individual temperature in up to 16 rooms of a residential building.

In order for the electronic thermostat to work efficiently, it must be registered in the selected master regulator, and then press the communication button, which is located under the actuator cover. A double blink of the indicator LED means that the radiator thermostat has been registered correctly. From now on , the thermostatic head will already work in the zone to maintain thermal comfort and savings in the  room.
