Protection and control of pump motors SMART 1 for single-phase (230 V) motors with a power of 1.1 kW is an electronic device for controlling the operation of the pump and protecting it against damage. It can be used with submersible, submersible and surface pumps. Wherever there is a need to control the level of the pumped liquid.

SMART 1 is very easy to use. All options are intuitive, and the liquid crystal display informs about the most important parameters of the device. The device is compatible with both a pressure switch and a hydrophore tank, as well as with probes/water level sensors or float control. It can work in automatic or manual mode, it has a button for calibrating the device.

The SMART 1 device informs, m.in. about: total operating time, current pump operating status, history of recent failures (last 5), current calibration and change of calibration of the controller with the pump.

In addition, it guarantees full protection against dry operation (without the need to install floats or probes in the water intake. Switching off the pump occurs due to too low water level), overheating, overload, voltage drops and increases and phase decays. When adverse conditions occur that could lead to damage, the device disconnects the pump. The pump is automatically restarted if the emergency factor has been eliminated.

SMART 1 allows the pump to be automatically switched on or off depending on the needs and application by the user: depending on the water level in the tank from which the liquid is pumped, depending on the water level in the tank into which the liquid is pumped or by controlling the pressure in the tank into which the substance is taken.

The device has a built-in capacitor matched to the motor power. For this reason, SMART 1 can only be used for engines with a specific power.
