The drain and filling valve in the brass body is controlled by thermostatic elements.

When the temperature limit is reached, the discharge valve opens and allows the superheated water to drain from the heat source into the sewer system. At the same time, the pressure valve of the tap water is opened.

When the temperature drops below the limit value, both valves close at the same time.

The DBV1 two-way subcooling thermostatic valve can be mounted vertically and horizontally.
